Select the books you want online
Use our advanced search features to find books just right for your kids. Search for books by age, gender, and reading level; find books similar to the ones your kids have already enjoyed! Choose from our recommendations; or ask one of our librarians to choose for you. With over 20,000 children's books and nothing inappropriate for kids, you're sure to find what your looking for.

Get books delivered to your door
Once or twice per month, you'll receive a shipment of books from us. All books arrive in a bright and shiny red package addressed to your family . It's like Christmas every month.

Keep them as long as you like
return them when you want more
All of our reading plans allow you to read and enjoy books as long as you like - there are no late fees. When you are ready for more, just send back the books you've completed using out prepaid mailer, we'll send out the next set from your child's request queue. Return shipments can be dropped into any USPS mail box or left on the counter at the post office (no need to wait in line).

To get your next shipment faster, you can log in to your account and let us know what books you'll be sending back. We will preship out your next shipment right away.

Find books your kids will love
Find books similar to other books your kids have enjoyed. Search by series, author, or category. See what other kids your child’s age and reading level like. Our advanced search makes it easy to find the books your kids want.

Get personalized recommendations
Every child gets their own reading request queue and we ask for your feedback to let us know what you think to the books you read. This way our system learns the reading level and likes/dislikes of each individual child. From this information we can make accurate personalized recommendations, filtering the choice of books for you, and saving you time and effort choosing books.

Give feedback online or via stickers
Rate books online to get better recommendations, or for younger kids, use the stickers included in every shipment. As we learn what your child likes, BookPig becomes like a personal librarian. Also, for children learning to read, you can tell us whether books are too hard or too easy and we learn their reading level.

"Keep" books your kids love
If your child is really attached to a book, use or "Keep It" feature to buy the book. We'll send an extra book out in you next shipment to replace the one you purchased.

Get your kids excited about reading
Getting a constant supply of books get kids excited about reading. You'll see your kids can't wait to receive the next red package and see whats inside. Be sure to get in on the excitement with them - encourage your kids to choose which one read first, second, third! It doesn't stop there, we offer you tips for opening a dialogue about books and sharing thoughts and ideas on characters and talking points.
